“Created en plein air with gouache and watercolour pencils, this work was inspired by the majesty of Tjaetaba Falls in Litchfield National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. The plunge pool at Tjaetaba is very deep and is shaded for most of the day making the water very cold to plunge into - a welcome oasis after a hot and sweaty hike in along a stony track.”
