We have the most beautiful grevilleas (a native flowering plant) on our little bush block. They are quite tall trees (for grevilleas) and have drooping orange flowers that the red-collared lorikeets and cockatoos come in to feed on in droves when they’re flowering. I’ve always been in love with the form of the flower and have wanted to design some earrings for ages but could never quite get a design that I was happy with. Inspiration has finally struck and I have designed these babies in a short and long version (the short ones are designed especially for my mum who, as she says, has ‘a very short neck’ and is forever asking me ‘Sarah, can you please design some smaller earrings’ or saying ‘These are nice but they are too big’ or ‘Maybe you could change this’ or ‘Do this’. Sheesh, lucky I love you Mum). Oh, and if anyone is interested, it is the grevillea pteridfolia that we have on our block.

Available in a short version and in a short and long etched version.

Dimensions: 30mm(w) x 89mm(h) with a hanging length of approximately 104mm (includes the length of the ear wire).

Made from hand painted, lightweight acrylic with niobium hypoallergenic earwires.

Note that the colour will look different in real life. I’ve tried reeeallly hard to try and get the colours looking similar but due to how cameras, monitors and screens process and display colour it is really hard to get them accurate.
